A full day’s drive is required to reach the local Tibetan town of Zhilung (Rilong) where you will be based. To help people acclimatize to the high altitude of the region, you will spend a day walking along the picturesque Changping Valley. The climb itself will take two days, a long hike up to Dafeng Base camp where you will stay in a basic mountain hut overnight, then an very early the following day and the long slow plod up the slopes of Mt Bumoshi, to summit mid morning.
